Bucking Rollers, Debudding Rollers - New or
Strip and Recoat
You've harvested your hemp, marijuana, or
hops and now you need to strip the plant.
Whether it's buds for producing CBD oil,
primo buds for the smoker, or hops buds for
craft brewing odds are you will be using a
bucking or debudding machine to increase the
efficiency of the debudding process. The
stems of either freshly harvested or dried
material are fed into the machine. The holes
in the plate are sized to only allow the
stems to pass through. Rubber coated rollers
pull the stems through the plate and the
leaves and buds are cleanly stripped off and
fall into a collection bin.
We have been contacted by several growers
and design engineers to work with them on
rubber coating the rollers for these bucking
or debudding apparatus. Whether you require
FDA approved materials, materials to
withstand the outdoor elements or materials
geared for abrasive environments or a
combination of those attributes we can work
with you to get the best rubber type and
hardness required for your application. We
also have worked with designers on grooved
rollers, rollers of different lengths and
using various materials.
Whether you are designing, or own machine
or your current rubber rollers have worn out
or are not lasting as long as you would
like, we can help.
Send us your roller design, highlighting
the core material, dimensions, bearing
surfaces, keyways and the area for rubber
surfacing and the finished OD. We can quote
making new cores for you or coating your
provided cores.
NEW OPTION
After working with several dozen folks
who contacted us hoping to find
off-the-shelf rollers we have developed an
easy way to design your own bucking rollers
using standard sized cores available to us.
You pick your roller diameter and length,
rubber thickness and determine if you want
us to provide the drive shafts and together
we can get a roller designed and processed
in as little as 10 to 15 working days and
get you debudding! See our

BUCKING ROLLER page.
Many times, the OEM requires you to
purchase new rollers once yours are worn or
possibly the material they used is not
suitable to your needs either in hardness or
type or longevity. The core is still good so
why buy a new one? Our ''Strip and Recoat''
services save you the cost of replacing a
properly functioning metal core and all you
are paying for is the resurfacing of the
rubber. Our quick turnaround can minimize
downtime.
